Business Development Manager | Pubs, Clubs, RSL's

Full-TimeSales Executive / BDM
Own a Territory. Build Relationships. Drive Growth.

This is an opportunity to join a global business that's transforming the way gaming venues, pubs, clubs and retailers manage one of the most critical parts of their operation.

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of the Queensland and Northern Territory territory, inheriting an established customer base while driving new business growth across one of the company's highest-potential regions.

If you're someone who enjoys getting out into the market, building genuine relationships and creating opportunities rather than sitting behind a desk waiting for leads, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

About the Role

Reporting directly to an experienced Sales Leader who has successfully built this territory himself, you'll take ownership of an established portfolio while developing new business opportunities across gaming venues, clubs, pubs and selected retail customers throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll manage your own territory, build long-term customer relationships and work closely with clients to deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, security and cash management.

While you'll inherit existing customers and opportunities, this is first and foremost a hunter role. Success comes from building relationships, networking, identifying opportunities and consistently developing new business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
  • Build relationships with pubs, clubs, gaming venues and retail customers.
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing customer relationships through upgrades, replacement opportunities and cross-selling.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions and trade shows.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and service teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
  • Manage your territory with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
What We're Looking For

We're far more interested in your ability to build relationships and win business than the exact product you've sold.

You'll ideally bring:
  • Proven Business Development experience.
  • A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business.
  • Experience selling into gaming, hospitality, retail or similar commercial environments.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • The ability to manage a large geographic territory.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and consultative sales skills.
  • Self-motivation, resilience and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Highly Regarded
  • Existing relationships within the gaming, clubs or hospitality industry.
  • Experience selling hardware, technology, operational equipment or capital equipment.
  • Experience managing regional territories.
What's in It for You?

  • Uncapped commission structure with genuine earning potential.
  • Established customer base and warm handover from the current Territory Manager.
  • A highly autonomous role with flexibility to manage your own diary.
  • Ongoing product, technical and sales training.
  • Direct mentoring from a leader who has successfully performed the role.
  • Genuine long-term career progression within a growing global organisation.
  • Supportive, collaborative Australian team backed by international resources.
Why This Opportunity?

This isn't a role where you're expected to build everything from zero.
You'll inherit an established territory, existing customer relationships and active opportunities while still having significant scope to develop new business and make the territory your own.

The business invests heavily in its people, rewards performance and promotes from within. High performers are recognised with increased responsibility, additional opportunities and genuine career progression.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine relationship building, autonomy, uncapped earning potential and long-term career growth, we'd love to hear from you.
